Kirkmount Bio:
Brothers Alex, Sam and Simeon Bigney began performing together as Kirkmount when they were still young teens. The Bigneys play the Celtic style music of their Nova Scotian heritage, performing many original compositions, along with traditional favorites. They have been recognized in their home state through their participation in the Utah Performing Arts Tour, and nationally through appearances on the popular public radio program A Prairie Home Companion. Their music ranges from slow, thoughtful melodies to lively jigs that make you want to tap your toe or even get up and dance.
