I'm glad you could stop by the kitchen for a bit. It's always nice to have someone to visit with. I'm the cook here at Kirkmount Inn and I can share a few kitchen tips and tricks with you before you go:
Tip: To clean a narrow-necked vase or decanter, poor in about a quarter cup of white vinegar and an eighth cup of uncooked rice. Swish the rice and vinegar around to dislodge dirt and grime. When all the gunk is loosened up, dump out the rice and vinegar and rinse with water.
